Why we started Knit.AI

Founded by industry veterans PJ Kirner and Matthew Glenn, who bring decades of experience in software and hardware development, product management, technical support, and IT operations. Their experience inspired long conversations into the challenges facing modern IT environments.

After years of building and implementing enterprise solutions alongside IT teams, one truth became clear: IT and Security teams are the unsung heroes of modern enterprises, balancing innovation with stability under increasingly complex demands.

The art of modern IT lies not in building from scratch, but in the delicate balance of evolution. IT leaders must seamlessly weave new technologies into existing systems while maintaining uninterrupted operations.

This insight sparked the creation of Knit.ai, with a clear mission: empower IT and Security Engineering teams through data-driven vendor analysis. Across your entire technology stack, Knit.ai brings clarity and efficiency to vendor interactions.

Through enhanced visibility and performance metrics, IT teams can maximize the value of their technology investments. The result: empowered teams focused on innovation and strategic initiatives.
